Although New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has declared himself back and ready to go, the New England Patriots haven’t been so quick to pull the trigger, this according to Pro Football Talk.

Gronkowksi earlier this week said he would be ready to (finally) take the field on Sunday against the New York Jets, but the Patriots have not made a final decision and will continue to list him as questionable:

"Per a league source, a final decision regarding whether Gronkowski will play on Sunday has not yet been made.  Officially, Gronkowski is listed as questionable to play."

The Patriots are often extremely tight lipped in regards to the status of any player and citing them a questionable seems to be their favorite thing to do, so the lack of update in regards to Gronkowski’s status is almost expected.

Thankfully for fantasy players worried about Gronkowski’s status, the Jets and Patriots do play an early game on Sunday so we’ll know his availability before any games kick off.
