The NCAA is really strict about collegiate athletes making any money, though, when it comes to lining their own pockets – they’re a bit more relaxed.

Case in point, below we have a picture of a Louisville ‘Teddy’ bear which just so happens to be ‘wearing’ a Louisville Cardinals helmet and strangely has the #5 jersey on. Now, I don’t know about you, but there happens to be a lot of numbers available for a football jersey so settling on the number five seems a bit ironic, especially since star quarterback Teddy Bridgewater also happens to wear the same number.

So – let me get this straight. We have a licensed bear, complete in team logo and uniform, with the same number as a star quarterback playing off his ‘Teddy’ name.

Yeah, I don’t see any any link between this teddy bear wearing a Cardinals #5 uniform and Teddy Bridgewater, wearing his #5 Cardinals uniform at all. Nope. None at all.

Glad nobody is capitalizing off the players likeness, because man, that would be wrong.
