2013 BCS Rankings: Initial standings released, Alabama on top

Eight weeks of the college football season have come and gone, and that means that it’s time to focus on who the contenders and pretenders are for the BCS National Championship. 2013 marks the final year of one of the most controversial systems in the history of sports, as next year we’ll move on to the playoff system.

But, for now, we get to enjoy the computers picking whom will play for the coveted crystal ball one final time.

With that being said, here are the  official initial 2013 BCS Standings:
