Desean Jackson injured late in 3rd (GIF)

The Philadephia Eagles are getting beat up at home against the Dallas Cowboys, it just got worse. Desean Jackson has seemingly injured his ankle after being stepped on by linebacker Bruce Carter.

Carter was being blocked on the play and Jackson, after making his own block was trying to back out of the oncoming traffic. The inside of his foot was stepped on and he immediately fell to the turf and began rolling around in pain.

Jackson is back on the field but we’ll have to see if this affects his speed down the field in the passing game. He seems to be limping heavily and may just be used as a decoy for the remainder of this one. He didn’t look good running around in the redzone in the last three or four plays.

The Eagles are currently trying to put their first points of the game up at the beginning of the 4th against Dallas. So far the Cowboys’ defense has shut down the high-flying Philly attack.
