After a head injury to Philadelphia Eagles starting quarterback Nick Foles, rookie Matt Barkley got an opportunity to show the Philly fans what he can offer. Unfortunately, his first series was a complete disaster.

On one of his first throws of the game, Bruce Carter intercepted the pass and took it deep into Eagles territory.

Luckily for Barkley and the Eagles, the play was canceled out thanks to an offsides call on the Dallas Cowboys. However, Barkley wasn’t done giving up the ball.

Shortly after, Barkley tossed another interception to Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee in what could be a turnover that ices the game with less than eight minutes to go.

Barkley has been lost since entering the game and he is showing that he’s clearly not ready for the NFL lights.
