Rookie Joseph Randle is set to start for the Dallas Cowboys in Week 7 against the Philadelphia Eagles after yet another injury to DeMarco Murray, which sparked some trade rumors on Sunday morning that the team could be looking to trade for a running back before the NFL trade deadline.

However, shortly after the report has come to light, the team and many close to the organization have vehemently denied they are looking to add a running back in the next few weeks.

A trade would make sense for Dallas, when you consider all of the injury issues that have plagued Murray since taking over as the starting running back, but apparently they have confidence he will be able to stay healthy down the stretch and help the team.

Of course, Dallas could first look at how Randle performs this week before making any decisions, but if the Cowboys are denying they’ll be looking for a running back, it is highly unlikely that they’ll pull the trigger on any trade.
