After an impressive win at home on Monday night against the Indianapolis Colts, the San Diego Chargers will take the long, cross country flight to meet up with the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday afternoon.
Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers has been a man on a mission lately, throwing for over 400 yards in three of his past five games. He’s lead the Chargers to a 3-3 record, though, it’s a record Chargers faithful are likely disappointed in considering the Bolts were in position to win both games against the Houston Texans and the Tennessee Titans.
Looking for their first win of the season will be the Jaguars, who despite being a 26-point underdog to the Denver Broncos in Week 6, kept things close for the first half of action. Unfortunately for Jacksonville, they couldn’t maintain their solid play through the entirety of the game as Denver began to pull away come the third quarter, but they certainly played better than many had expected.
Still, moral victories don’t count in the standings and it’s likely the Jags are still going to remain without a win after their Week 7 tilt against the Chargers.
Prediction:
Chargers – 28
Jaguars – 17
