Fulham and Crystal Palace are playing today in a little Monday English Premier League action. This game wasn’t really a marquee match up and lacked the big name draws most Americans go for when watching soccer. Nevertheless, they missed out because there was absolute gem of a goal in this game.

Fulham midfielder Pajtim Kasami was going on a long run when a teammate sent in a deep lob pass. It was almost like a quarterback throwing a pass it was so perfect. Pajtim Kasami chested it on his first touch causing the ball to hang a little bit. Then Pajtim Kasami struck it with his right foot and just inside the top corner of the box.

The goalie clearly wasn’t ready and cheating to the near post. The ball went to the far post and the goalie couldn’t recover to make the save and the ball went in to give the the Fulham a tie in the game.

Cyrstal Palace has scored first, in the first 7 minutes with a goal from Adrian Mariappa. Fulham scored later to take a 2-1.
