According to ESPN NFL Insider and professional Tweeter Adam Schefter, at least three different teams have contacted the Browns about a possible trade. Two of the teams have offered a high pick and a player. The Browns though aren’t satisfied with the offers apparently and have balked at the offers. The Browns could be balking because they actually have no intention of trading Gordon.
“We’re absolutely not shopping Josh,” Browns CEO Joe Banner told USA TODAY Sports earlier this month. “We’re not going to shop him and we don’t have any plan or intention to trade him.”
“I personally — and I think anybody here — would be completely shocked if we ended up trading him. Josh is playing great. He’s working his butt off.”
Which three teams still remains unknown. Some people on Twitter think that the Indianapolis Colts should trade Trent Richardson back to the Browns for Gordon. It would be funny.
The trade deadline is October 29th, so there is still time for them to reconsider or for sweeter offers to come in.
