Per Bengals.com, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton is up for an award for the second-straight week, as the NFL has nominated him for the FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week Award:

"Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton has been recognized by the NFL for his efforts in last Sunday’s 27-24 victory over the Detroit Lions.Dalton is one of three finalists for FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week along with Falcons QB Matt Ryan and Redskins QB Robert Griffin III.Dalton completed 24 of 34 passes for 372 yards, three touchdowns, no interceptions, and a passer rating of 135.9 in leading the Bengals to their second consecutive road win."

Fans can vote for Dalton or whoever they wish now through Friday, October 25 at 3 p.m. ET to determine the winner, who will be announced Friday on NFL Total Access on NFL Network and on NFL.com.

To see Dalton get two-straight player of the week awards would be a nice accomplishment after his late September-early October slump that had many howling for the Bengals to replace him.
