The Cincinnati Bengals need to add a cornerback to the roster now that Leon Hall is out for the year, and they already appear to be gauging all of their options. Head coach Marvin Lewis said they weren’t looking to a add player from free agency or the waiver wire, but they may be forced to with injury-prone CBs Brandon Ghee and Dre Kirkpatrick on the roster, and Adam Jones has battled minor injuries throughout the year that have hindered his play.

And according to Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati enquirer, they have already made one attempt to claim a player on the waiver wire:

Poyer played in three regular-season games for the Philadelphia Eagles, but only accounted for three tackles. Still, he may turn out to be a good player, and the Browns can say they beat their division rivals to get him.
