As we prepare for Game 1 of the 2013 World Series between the St. Louis Cardinals and Boston Red Sox, Daniel George of GameSided.com took some time to simulate the first game of the series and we have the results.

George played out the game on MLB 13: The Show and it was a big win on the road for the Cardinals to take an early lead in the series.

Adam Wainwright was once again able to put on a big performance, while two early runs given up by Jon Lester paved the way for St. Louis to close out the game strong and hang on for a 3-1 win.

Matt Adams led the way for the Cardinals offensive attack with two RBI and that was all it took to take the early advantage in the World Series.
