So far, there are four teams that have are still undefeated in group play. Those four teams are sitting atop our table. Likewise, there are four teams still looking to get their first points.

Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain both had dominating 5-0 wins over two bottom rung opponents. Bayer Leverkusen also had a solid 4-0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk.

Barcelona’s bid for an undefeated streak in group play ended with a draw against AC Milan on Tuesday. Borussia Dortmund defeated Arsenal to pull even in points. Manchester United got a win via an own goal on Wednesday to stay ahead of their group. When you get the points, luck isn’t factored in. Real Madrid got some luck in their win over Juventus, but a win is still three points. It is also a win over a solid and respectable squad.
