Talent hasn’t ever been the problem for Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon, staying out of trouble though, has. That’s why the Cleveland Browns are even entertaining the idea of trading the talented player, though so far, they haven’t received any offers to their liking.
Despite apparently being on the block, it’s looking more and more likely that Gordon will remain in Cleveland come Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline and according to offensive coordinator Norv Turner, he thinks Gordon will return to form as the trade rumors have been affecting his play:
Browns offensive coordinator Norv Turner and running back Willis McGahee believe the trade rumors surrounding wide receiver Josh Gordon are affecting him.“I would hope not, but I’m realistic to know that it does,” Turner said Thursday before practice. “He’s a young guy. He’s not very experienced. He wasn’t the go-to guy as a young player, so this is all a new thing for him. I think when you add those things to it, it can affect him.”
What’s affecting Gordon more than the trade rumors is the crappy quarterback play.
