New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has been bothered by a shoulder injury. The always secretive Patriots have said Brady’s injury is a “right shoulder issue,” offering nothing more.

The Patriots officially listed Brady as a limited participant in Thursday’s practice.

“I’m like everybody; there’s just bumps and bruises that happen over the course of the football season,” Brady told WEEI, a local sports talk radio station in Boston via Field Yates of ESPN Boston. We’ll just get treatment like always, be out there, and try to go out and execute as well as I can next week. It’s just part of football.”

Brady and the Patriots are coming off of a loss to the New York Jets and although they have a record of 5-2 and are first in the AFC East, their offense has struggled.

Brady is having one of the worst seasons of his career. He’s completed 158 of 285 passes for 1,708 yards with only eight touchdowns and five interceptions.

The Patriots will be in another key AFC East battle when they host the 3-3 Miami Dolphins Sunday at 1:00 pm EST Sunday.
