UCLA Bruins vs Oregon Ducks point spread, prediction

The game of the week between UCLA and Oregon at first glance seems like it could be a runaway. This based off of the Ducks powering over everybody to this point in time (including Washington two weeks ago) and UCLA losing to Stanford last week in disappointing fashion.

But this is the Pac-12 and a look at the past several seasons will tell you that top teams falter and then rebound quickly in this conference. Heck, it happened for Stanford and ASU just last week. With that in mind, the Bruins have the Ducks right where they want them, right? Well, generally that might be the case, but as Lee Corso would say, “not so fast my friend”.

This season’s Oregon team is really in a class all their own and will be out to prove it on Saturday in the national game of the week. Not only did Washington State hang an apparently embarrassing 38 on the Ducks at home last week, but then Florida State jumped them in the rankings. Oregon is going to be fightin’-mad this weekend and poor UCLA is in the way.

Odds: Ducks by 23

Prediction: Oregon 50 UCLA 23
