The Kentucky Wildcats will hit the road this week against the Mississippi State Bulldogs. The 1-5 Cats are looking to turn their season around, and even against a 3-3 Bulldogs squad, the Cats will have to play their most complete game of the season in order to come out of Starkville with their first SEC road win in nearly four years.

It would also be the Cats’ first SEC win in the Mark Stoops era. The game will be in primetime on Thursday night after both teams has their bye-week.

“I think should help us going into this game,” UK Head Coach Mark Stoops said Monday about the bye-week. “I think our preparation has been very good. I feel like the team is in a good place right now.

“I feel like we’re getting our legs back up underneath us. I feel like we’re getting a little bit healthier, and we’ve had some good work, so that should be good.”
