Fantasy Football: Get to know Denver Broncos RB C.J. Anderson
By Jason Marcum
The plan is for Montee Ball to be Denver’s likely No. 2 back behind Knowshon Moreno, but given the durability concerns of Moreno and the lack of explosiveness and vision by Ball thus far, Anderson could quickly find himself getting double-digit touches per game.
The Broncos’ running game through seven games has pretty much been Knowshon Moreno and little else, as Hillman and rookie Montee Ball have each had fumble problems.
Anderson weighs-in at 5-8 and 224 pounds, making him the bulkiest Bronco RB, and may be able to help on those third-and-short plays that Moreno and Ball have failed to pick up consistently.
In his senior year of college at Cal-Berkeley, Anderson ran for 790 yards on 126 carries while battling two other backs for playing time in a committee approach.
