Houston Rockets' James Harden suffers bruised right knee

I guess the NBA could learn something from the NFL – it’s probably not a good idea to play your best players in your final preseason game.

That’s something the Houston Rockets are probably kicking themselves for tonight after James Harden was forced from the contest with a bruised right knee.

Harden was attempting to shoot a three pointer and was fouled on the shot (which he made) apparently bumping knees  in the process. The former Arizona State Sun Devil was in some obvious pain though did stay in to take (and make) his free throw, but, left just moments later.

The Rockets shooting guard did have a small limp on his way to the locker room, though, it wasn’t excessive and it’s likely that Harden simply banged knees and will be ready to go for the season opener.

Consider it a bullet dodged if you’re the Rockets.

Regardless, Harden will undergo a multitude of tests just to make sure it’s nothing serious.

Barring an oddity, Harden should be ready for the season opener.

I would say that McHale’s players rotation is out of the universe; one of a kind.

To say the least, he tried very hard to win many games in the preseason but when the regular season starts, we will see the true rockets.
I’ll bet they will lose to the Memphis and the Indiana team. At this moment, every team knows their offenses and defenses pretty well.
