Racing pigeons overseas is a very popular thing it turns out, so there are always those who are looking for a leg up in the highly lucrative sport. Recently, after testing a number of racing pigeons in Belgium, a handful of the birds tested positive for various drugs including traces of cocaine and painkillers, according to BBC News.

There are also some cases linked to the sport that have included thefts from breeders and racketeering, but racing pigeons testing positive for cocaine may be one of the silliest stories that we have heard in recent memory.

We have learned over the past few years that former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson has a love for pigeons, so if he were the breeder of the birds that tested positive for the drugs it would come as no surprise. However, it’s a bunch of random rich dudes in Belgium that love racing birds.

Hey, to each their own, but if you are giving your birds cocaine so that they can win a flying race, you have some pretty big issues.
