Nebraska Cornhuskers QB Taylor Martinez has missed the last three games with turf toe. This week, however, the veteran signal caller returned to practice, and has been rumored all week to be a game-time decision when the Huskers take the field on Saturday against Minnesota.
Now, according to a report from ESPN’s Joe Schad, Martinez will return to the field tomorrow to help push his team toward another appearance in the Big Ten Championship Game.
Nebraska QB Taylor Martinez (toe) plans to start at Minnesota on Saturday.

In the last three games, Tommy Armstrong has been the man under center during Martinez’s absence, and has been able to keep the team right on track.
But, there’s no doubt that this Nebraska offense just runs more smoothly overall when the familiar face of Taylor Martinez is orchestrating things. In the time that he has played this season, Martinez has thrown for nine touchdowns and just one pick. He’s improved his throwing abilities tremendously and will have the Huskers in prime position to make it back to Indianapolis come early December.
