There were some questions about whether or not wide receiver Marqise Lee would be available after a knee injury suffered against Arizona, which he aggravated last week against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He missed the second half of the Notre Dame game, and now it looks like he won’t be available this weekend as well.
Reports indicate that Lee has been ruled out of this weekend’s match up against the Utah Utes, which leaves the Trojans without any star wide receivers.
From Joe Schad of ESPN:
USC WR Marquise Lee (knee) won’t play vs. Utah. Trojans may use four walk-on wide receivers.

Lee was considered one of the best wide receivers in the nation entering the season, but the 2013 campaign has not gone according to plan.
The Trojans wideout has struggled to stay healthy and the team’s offense has been pathetic at times, so Lee’s draft status may have taken a big hit. Lee should still be drafted in the first two rounds of the 2014 NFL Draft, but he won’t be drafted as high in the first round as he would have been a year ago.
