The Alabama Crimson Tide have an SEC battle today with one of their more traditional foes in the form of the Tennessee Volunteers.
With the way that the Alabama offense has been questioned this year at times, coupled with the heart that Tennessee has shown in the last few weeks which included a win last week over South Carolina, some thought that this may be a bit of a trap game for the number one team in the land.
Well, the Crimson Tide put the stops to that talk early on in this one.
Not even two minutes into the game, ‘Bama QB AJ McCarron dropped back and flipped one out to his right side to stud wide receiver Amari Cooper who proceeded to fly his way down the right sideline for the early 6-0 lead.
Yeah, I’m not sure that there’s really anymore questions about this Tide offense. If they can continue to make plays like this, then whatever negative talk is left over will quickly fade away.
