Today, El Clasico is underway between Barcelona and Real Madrid. This game has been headlined by the Cristiano Ronaldo versus Lionel Messi storyline lately. Both teams upgraded their offense by adding more than capable goal scorers.

Barcelona signed the young Brazilian YouTube sensation and soccer prodigy Neymar. Real Madrid brought in the more proven Gareth Bale from Tottenham Hotspur. Both players are making their Clasico debuts today.

Neymar got the first goal of the game though, making his impact immediately felt. Sometimes new players need time to acclimate to a game of this magnitude with this amount of pressure. Especially a player making his debut in European soccer this season. None of that got to Neymar though, and he scored his first Clasico goal.

It was a relatively simple goal. He was coming in from the corner of the 18-yard box on a run, the ball got dumped to him. He carried it for a bit before two defenders came to confront them and he just taps it around them to the far post to put the goal in.

That goal gave Barcelona a 1-0 lead that they carried into the half.
