It’s starting to become clearly evident that stopping the Florida State Seminoles’ offense is near impossible, and they showed that once again as they thoroughly dominated the N.C. State Wolfpack at home on Saturday, 49-17.
Jameis Winston’s day was done a little after halftime after putting up more big numbers to help his Heisman cause by going 17-of-26 for 312 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions.
This one was finished about as early as it could be with the ‘Noles taking a more than commanding 35-0 lead after the end of the first quarter. With former head coach Bobby Bowden in attendance on the weekend that he was honored by the school, it was a performance reminiscent of his days running the program.
Versatile wide receiver Rashad Greene led the way once again for Florida State with eight catches for 137 yards and a score. Running back Devonta Freeman was the leader for the Seminoles on the ground with 12 carries for 92 yards and two touchdowns.
Now, for the second time in the three weeks, Florida State has another top 10 showdown looming with an ACC opponent as they’ll welcome in the undefeated Miami Hurricanes next week to Tallahassee.
The Wolfpack drop to 3-4 with the loss and will take on the North Carolina Tar Heels next weekend.
