Tennessee at Alabama final score: Crimson Tide win 45-10

Did you watch until the final whistle, Alabama students? ‘Cause you know Saban’s gonna be furious if you didn’t.

In what was another dominate performance, the Alabama Crimson Tide improved their record to 8-0 by throttling the Tennessee Volunteers 45-10. The loss drops the Tennessee Volunteers, who upset the South Carolina Gamecocks last week, to 4-4 overall on the season and 1-3 in the SEC.

The Tide struck only minutes into the game by way a 54-yard touchdown pass from AJ McCarron to sophomore wide receiver Amari Cooper. McCarron threw a second touchdown pass later in the quarter — this time to Kevin Norwood, who also pulled down this great catch — and Alabama built a 21-0 lead they wouldn’t look back from. An 89-yard interception return for a touchdown by Landon Collins at the end of the half provided the proverbial nail in the coffin.

Alabama’s defense continued it’s run of excellent games. Ever since giving up 42 points to the Texas A&M Aggies, the Crimson Tide have allowed only 26 points.
