The Buffalo Bills have decided to hold out running back C.J. Spiller according to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Spiller is also not pleased with it and wants to play, but he understands the decision. Earlier this week, Spiller had to clarify that he is on the same page with head coach Dough Marrone and that they have a great relationship.

“I have no problem with Coach Marrone,” Spiller told Mike Rodak of ESPN.com. “I think we have a great relationship. Concerning my injury, I think we’re both on the same page. He wants what’s best for me, and he also wants what’s best for this team. He’s going to make the right decision. And I’m going to back him. So there’s definitely no feud, no miscommunication.”

Spiller also said that he felt his ankle was healing and felt better.

“I thought during individual drills I was able to do a lot of stuff without even a limp. That really surprised me,” Spiller said. “So everything is pointing up in the north direction.”
