After a shocking trade of running back Trent Richardson earlier in the season, two things were clear. One, the Cleveland Browns front office was here to play and two, who knows what they’ll do next.
Could it involve up-and-coming tight end Jordan Cameron? According to CBS’ Jason La Canfora, it’s a possibility though if a team wants to acquire the young star in the making, it’s going to cost them.
While most have assumed it would be Josh Gordon who would be on the move, if the Browns were to make a trade, La Canfora suggests that people he has talked to, who have talked to the Browns, believe Cleveland would entertain trading Cameron if a team was willing to meet their asking price:
According to some who have been in contact with the Browns, they believe Cleveland would entertain offers for emerging tight end Jordan Cameron as well as Gordon, though it would take a steep haul of picks and/or players to acquire them.
Cameron, a third year player has emerged on the scene this season and it could be a case of the Browns attempting to sell at a high point, though, it’s doubtful any move would get made considering the asking price and talent level of Cameron.
