Quarterback Eli Manning has already won two Super Bowls for the New York Giants. And now he holds their passing yards record.
Today, Manning took the field against the Philadelphia Eagles just 14 yards shy of Phil Simms’ 33,462 total yards passing. Manning eclipsed that total in the first quarter, and has so far passed for 236 yards.
While this is a great achievement for Manning, he still has a lot of work ahead of him to get the Giants out of the 1-6 hole they’ve found themselves in. But a win against the Eagles would help.
