Yesterday, the people at Paramount Pictures released the first TV Spot for the upcoming film, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.

The film, directed by Adam McKay, will find our favorite news team with the 70’s far behind them and ready to to take cable news by storm.

San Diego’s top rated news man Ron Burgundy, played by funnyman Will Ferrell, returns to the news desk along with his friends weatherman Brick Tamland, played bySteve Carrell, the man on the street Brian Fantana, portrayed by Paul Rudd, and sports anchor Champ Kind, played by David Koechner as they head to New York to take on the Nation’s first 24-hour news station, the Global News Network.

Burgundy and the gang won’t rest until they are number one again; no matter what it takes.

In the trailer, we see Burgundy being recruited to join the team of a new 24-hour news station called the Global News Network.

I’m gonna do the thing that God put Ron Burgundy on this Earth to do; have saloon-quality hair and read the news.” Burgundy says.

However, as you can see from the trailer, Burgundy needs a serious lesson in how to build upon race relations. He is clearly doing it wrong.

Here is a peek at the first TV Spot for the upcoming film Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues is scheduled to be released on December 20, 2013.
