The above photo shows you just how much opposing NFL teams and players respect Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jared Allen. He faces relentless double-teams on a Vikings defense that doesn’t have enough of a supporting cast to free the All-Pro DE and let him wreak havoc in opponent’s backfields.

It looks like Allen may be one of the biggest players to potentially move at the NFL trade deadline, as the team has been trying to move him, but have been unsuccessful to this point.

Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer reported Sunday that Allen could be available for a third-round draft pick because the Viking will get a compensatory third-round pick if Allen leaves via free agency, so the Vikings might be looking for more than that in a deal.
