It’s been a season to forget for Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice.

Averting a paltry 2.8 yards per carry, Rice has looked like a shell of his former self though is reportedly says his legs are feeling ‘a lot’ better, welcome news to Ravens fans:

"“Absolutely,” Rice said. “I told you [last week] that I felt good. I have my burst back. I’ve got everything that I needed to get back. I wouldn’t kid you if I said I was feeling good. Obviously I’ve got my step back, and that’s exciting for me going into the second half of the year. …“My leg’s feeling a lot better, and I’m looking forward to doing some damage.”"

Rice, who suffered a non-contact injury earlier in the season has looked somewhat tentative in recent weeks, so his confidence can only be seen as a good sign.

Rice has only rushed for over 45 yards once this season, though will get a familiar foe when he and his Ravens take on the Cleveland Browns in Week 9.
