Alex Morgan, Sydney Leroux reenact Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke twerk performance (Video)

United States women’s soccer stars Alex Morgan and Sydney Leroux always have the most fun on Halloween. Last year, the teammates dressed up as members of the Fierce Five USA gymnastics team that took the 2012 London Olympics by storm, and this year they are tapping in to their inner pop stars.

Morgan dressed up as Miley Cyrus from the MTV Video Music Awards performance, while Lerous wore the Beetle Juice outfit that Robin Thicke rocked at the VMAs.

As you can see above, it was awesome.

Perhaps the best part of their most recent Halloween outing is that the pair decided to give us a video of them reenacting the twerk session that lit the Internet on fire — thanks, Sydney Leroux.

Morgan really has the Miley feel down perfectly, including the excessive sticking out of the tongue.
