The President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, has had back-to-back meetings with LeBron James and the Miami Heat. However, Obama’s sports allegiance lies with the Chicago Bulls, who LeBron and company take on tonight to kick off the 2013-14 NBA season.

As we await tonight’s big game between the Bulls and Heat, President Obama took to Twitter to welcome back the star of his favorite team.

By now you should know that Obama is a huge sports fan and that he was once a member of the Senate representing Illinois, so it is always cool and refreshing to see him showing a down to Earth side that reminds us all that even the man with the most responsibilities in the nation is a sports fan at his core.

Whether or not Obama’s well wishes will help the Bulls and Bulls Nation charge forward remains to be seen, but we know that he will certainly be watching.
