College football conference power rankings: Week 9

Through nine weeks of the 2013 college football season, each power conference can still lay claim to having an undefeated team as a proud member.

Florida State (ACC), Alabama (SEC), Oregon (Pac-12), Ohio State (Big Ten) and Baylor (Big 12) all still have not tasted defeat yet this season. With the parity growing throughout college football these days, going unblemished throughout a span of nine weeks is more of an accomplishment than it used to be.

There’s still a lot of football to be played this season, and we’ll soon find out who wants it most between those five teams mentioned above.

But, instead of singling out the performances of the teams through nine games, what about the conferences as a whole? Which conference, top to bottom, has the best overall talent as we head toward November and the home stretch of the season.
