But ti will be the aforementioned Tate who sees the greatest rise in his production with Rice now shelved for the season. Even when Percy Harvin returns, Tate is the only receiver quarterback Russell Wilson has any chemistry with and trusts at the same time.

He and Tate have hooked-up a lot since Wilson become the starting QB last year, but Rice did just enough to keep Tate from ever being a consistent fantasy option.

For at least the next few weeks, Tate will see a lot of targets every game, and he’s now considered a WR-2 or flex play. He’s available in many standard leagues, so go pick him up if he’s still on your league’s waiver wire.

Not long after Rice went down Monday, Tate went on to catch an 80-yard touchdown as hewaved to the Rams’ secondary until he eventually scored:
