St. Louis Cardinals team plane has mechanical problems; hasn't left for Boston

The St. Louis Cardinals are preparing to head back to Boston for the final games of the 2013 World Series against the Red Sox, but they have had some issues that has prevented the team from leaving on schedule.

St. Louis has yet to leave for Boston, because of mechanical issues with the team plane.

From ESPN’s SportsCenter:

Obviously, the team will still get to Boston on time, but they could be significantly delayed which will affect their preparation time and schedule for practices.

The Cardinals are already in hot water and on the brink of elimination, so the added distractions can’t be welcomed.

Once the Cardinals are on their way to Boston, all will be back to normal and we wish them the safest of travels. Let’s hope they don’t run in to any more mechanical issues.
