Milwaukee Bucks fans had hoped to see what newly acquired point guard Brandon Knight could do for the franchise, but they may be forced to wait on that as Knight left just minutes into Wednesday’s game.
Knight, who has been dealing with a nagging hamstring injury for nearly a month now came up lame two minutes into the first quarter and was removed is some pretty obvious pain. He was deemed out for the rest of the game, though, the Bucks may have a more serious event on their hand than just a minor tweak.
Considering the amount of time Knight has been suffering from the nagging hamstring injury, the team may need to take a more cautious route with their point guard and sit him for a few weeks in hopes of getting him healthy for the remainder of the season.
The team plans to re-evaluate Knight tomorrow and in the coming days to see how long of an absence he’ll need.
Nate Wolters will take over for Knight until Luke Ridnour, who is out with his own injury, is able to return.
