Well, just when things are starting to look good, things start to get a little darker for this team.

The Cincinnati Bengals are currently sitting at 6-2 on the year, yes, but within the last couple of weeks, their secondary has taken huge hits injury wise. First they lost corner-back Leon Hall to a season ending Achilles tendon injury, now they’ll also lose Taylor Mays for the remainder of the year.

That’s right, Taylor Mays was placed on the injured reserve today after dislocating his shoulder and will obviously be out for Thursdays game against the Miami Dolphins. An injury like this will surely hurt the Bengals now that both Hall and Mays are done for the remainder of the season.

They’re going to have whatever guys they have left on this roster to step up in both positions and make sure they perform to the best of their ability to ensure this team finishes the season as division champions.

They clinched a Wild Card berth last season, but would love taking home another division title. Can they do that without both Taylor Mays and Leon Hall in their secondary?
