From appearances to Saturday Night Live, to his many commercials that often insight a nice bit of humore, Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is a pretty funny guy off the football field. But his upcoming interview with a comedy star will certainly be something to watch if you’re in the mood for a good laugh.
According to Mike Kliss of the Denver Post, Manning will be interviewed by one of the greatest and funniest “fake” news anchormen we’ve ever seen. That man is Anchorman’s won Ron Burgundy (played by Will Ferrell):
"As the football world has come to understand, Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning stays busy during game week preparing for his upcoming opponent. But he does try to loosen up during the bye week. On Tuesday, Manning sat down for a spoof interview with comedian Will Ferrell, who via satellite was in his Ron Burgundy character. The interview will be played by ESPN leading up the Broncos’ game against the Tennessee Titans on Dec. 8 as way to promote Ferrell’s film, “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues” that will be released Dec. 20."
Burgundy can be seen in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, which is set to release on December 20.
