Santonio Homes time with the New York Jets will more than likely come to an end when the regular season ends.

I’m not hearing this from a source, I’m just going off what I know myself or at least seen. Ever since Holmes was traded to the Jets from the Steelers a couple seasons ago, something about him has changed.

Yeah he’s the same talented player, but ever since he won that Super Bowl and MVP award, the ego has gotten somewhat bigger. I don’t really blame the man, he is one talented wide receiver. But the way he’s approached things ever since he put on those new colors, everything’s been off about him.

He’s refused to take the field even though he was medically cleared earlier this year.

Anyways, Holmes is dealing with a hamstring injury and isn’t expected to be available for the Jets this weekend when they take on the New Orleans Saints. A game that will surely be a tough one for them on both sides of the ball. This team could use Holmes on Sunday, but if this injury is holding him back, then allow him to take the week off.

I miss the old Santonio Holmes. Maybe it’s just frustration.

He ran some routes today but didn’t not practice. Holmes could be returning sometime around Week 11 according to ESPN New York.
