The Los Angeles Lakers were riding high after their win over the Clippers in the season-opener, but the team quickly came crashing down to Earth thanks to an incredible performance by the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night.
The Warriors entered the half with a 19-point lead over Los Angeles, but it jumped to 33 as the Warriors went on a hot streak.
Klay Thompson’s career-high 38 points may be the biggest story line, but it was Andre Iguodala and David Lee who executed a picture perfect give-and-go that was the highlight of the night.
In a beautiful display of unselfishness, Iguodala sent a behind-the-back pass to Lee, who immediately sent the ball right back to Iguodala for the easy lay it.
It doesn’t get much prettier than this play.

The Warriors rested their starters for the fourth quarter thanks to their hefty lead and they made a statement performance in their first game of the season.
Golden State was one of the most exciting teams to watch just a season ago, and they are picking up right where they left off.
