AWOL tackle Jonathan Martin has been ruled out for Thursday’s game

Fellow FanSided writer Bryan Rose posted yesterday that Miami Dolphins offensive tackle Jonathan Martin got upset over a joke, slammed his lunch tray and left the team’s facility. For more info on this story, click on the highlighted section of the previous sentence.

Anyways, they still haven’t heard from him. Nobody knows where Martin is, but now we know where he definitely won’t be tomorrow night. The Miami Dolphins are getting ready to go head to head with the AFC North leading Cincinnati Bengals.

This is a must win game for the Dolphins as they’re looking to prove they can be a team that can turn things around and become a playoff contender. A victory over the Cincinnati Bengals should turn some heads in their direction and that’s exactly what they want.

With Martin out, it’s unclear when he’ll actually return. I can tell right now it’s going to be awkward when he does return. Since Martin won’t be playing tomorrow after going AWOL, Tyler Clabo will start in his place opposite Bryant McKinnie.

Dolphins also promoted wide receiver Ryan Spadola from the practice squad. He’ll take Brandon Gibson’s spot on the roster.
