Jacoby Ellsbury will undergo an MRI on left hand and wrist

The Boston Red Sox are World Series champions for the third time in the last decade.

Now the team’s focus will be evaluating their roster to see who can and won’t be able to help them repeat next season. I mean, you would think they would keep the same team together considering they were once the worst team in baseball now sit at the top of the mountain with the crown on their heads.

Anyways, outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury is one of these players who are set to be a free agent. But before Ellsbury deals with all that off-season drama that every professional player looks forward to, he’ll undergo an MRI later this week.

According to FOX Sports, Ellsbury injured his hand and wrist last season and has been playing the entire post-season with the injuries. The man wanted to wait until the World Series was over until he got things taken care of.

That shows everybody the type of player he is. Ellsbury has always been a tough player, that’s why I think he’s going to get a lot of attention this off-season.

Boston will have to sweet talk Ellsbury into returning.
