OSU players believe USC is better than their record

The USC Trojans are only 5-3 this season and are ranked 11th in the Pac-12 in both total offense and points per game. But according to Oregon State Beavers linebacker Jabral Johnson, the lukewarm numbers don’t indicate the actual talent the Trojans possess:

I don’t let stats determine how good a team is. They’ve got a lot of athletes, a lot of talent and on film, you see a lot of attitude. We’re going to have to see if we can break their will (Oregon Live).

Johnson continued:

Those three running backs are pretty talented, and they’ve got a lot of good receivers. I mean, I remember the Rivals.com rankings — they’re all good.

The battle between the Trojans and the Beavers should, despite OSU’s hideous all-orange uniforms, be a fun one on Friday night, and it should provide hack Internet comedians with plenty of opportunities to make lewd jokes regarding the nicknames. That’s always enjoyable.
