Shelby Miller confused on why he wasn't used during the World Series

I just noticed that we didn’t see Shelby Miller at all during the World Series. Well, maybe we seen him on camera, but that’s about it.

This St. Louis Cardinals pitching staff has a lot of talent and Miller is one of those talented pitchers. They used him during the division series once against the Pittsburgh Pirates and I thought for sure he was going to be used in a game against the Red Sox, but that didn’t happen.

Miller is confused himself. He was carried on the roster throughout the playoff’s but wasn’t even considered to be a starter or called in for relief.

Shelby spoke to the St. Louis Post-dispatch and said:

“There could be something that I don’t know about going on. Maybe I’ll have some understand in the offseason. I think it’s more they’re just looking out for me, innings-wise. I don’t feel fatigued. I don’t feel tired. I feel really good. There is probably some answer that I don’t know about. I’ll wait to hear it.” Shelby Miller told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

The decision to not use Miller was very surprising.
