St. Louis weatherman is less than thrilled with the Cardinals (Video)

Nobody expected the St. Louis Cardinals to be a defensive force in the 2013 World Series, and they weren’t. The Cardinals made a handful of poor defensive plays during the series, plays that ended up costing them severely. But what nobody really expected was for the vaulted Cardinals offense to be shut down like it was.

Not only were the Cardinals kept in check by Jon Lester (St. Louis did struggled against left handing pitching all season) but they were also shut down by the right handed arms in the Red Sox’s rotation.

Things came to a head on Wednesday night when the Cardinals’ offense looked as woeful as ever, which didn’t sit well with a local St. Louis weatherman.

Appearing on Fox 2 Thursday morning, clearly less than impressed with his favorite baseball team, the weatherman decided to rip off a few zingers at the expense of the Cardinals offense.

Frustrated or not, somebody had to lose and the faithful shouldn’t be too bummed considering the Cardinals impressive season.
