College Football Week 10 Upset Alert: Oklahoma State at Texas Tech

The Texas Tech Red Raiders have been a pleasant surprise this season, with an exciting, young head coach and a true freshman quarterback to lead the offense. The Red Raiders, who are currently ranked No. 13 in the nation, suffered their first loss of the season last week and now they will be facing another difficult challenge.

While the game is in Lubbock, the Red Raiders will be hosting another ranked team on Saturday, No. 13 Oklahoma State, who will be looking to deliver Tech their second straight loss.

Texas Tech opened as 2.5-point favorites over the visiting Cowboys, but the line has closed in some sports books with 1.5-points being the current line.

Not only in Vegas, but on the field the Red Raiders need to be concerned about an upset.

Oklahoma State is 7-1 against the spread against Texas Tech and they have a strong running game that will be able to control the clock and keep the up-tempo Red Raiders offense grounded.

It won’t be easy for either team, but we’d expect to see the Red Raiders suffering their second straight loss and returning to Earth after their red hot start to the 2013 college football season.
