During last month’s Apple event in San Francisco, the brand new iPad Air was unveiled. Now, after a little over a week of anticipation, Apple’s new device is available for purchase. The Apple iPad Air is available in the United States, Australia, China, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Japan and many other countries around the world.
The iPad Air price ranges from $499 for 16 GB to $799 for 128 GB. Apple will discontinue the iPad 4, but continue to sell the iPad 2. It is available in three colors, white, black, and “space gray.”
The iPad Air features the 64-bit processor which is used in the iPhone 5 S, the 64-bit A7. The device weighs 0.4 pounds less than the previous iPad and has Apple touting it as the lightest tablet in the world.
You can pick up the device at your local Apple store or simply order online. If you order online, the device will not ship until Nov. 4.
