Andray Blatche fined $15,000 for 'making an obscene gesture'

Brooklyn Nets power forward Andray Blatche was hit with a $15,000 fine by the NBA for “making an obscene gesture” in Friday night’s win over the Miami Heat.

You can check out Blatche’s oh-so-horrible crime in the video below:

Evidently, miming that one possesses huge balls is unacceptable. However, how do we know that is what Blatche was doing here? Maybe he was just demonstrating improper lifting technique for carrying a statue with an awkwardly large base. A lot of children were likely watching the Heat-Nets game, and it’s important that those children know that bending at the waist like Blatche was and letting your arms dangle is not the way to lift and transport large objects. What, is the NBA against child safety now? OR, cue conspiracy music, is the NBA hoping more children will throw out their backs via incorrect lifting techniques, ergo rendering them bed-ridden and more likely to watch basketball since getting up and walking around isn’t an option?
